MRS Clause, Rudolph, elves, gingerbread men, toy soldiers and fairies marked the arrival of Santa and the start of the festive season at Capalaba Central.
Families were treated with free fairy floss, face painting and a Christmas craft workshop.
Santa has taken up residence in his enchanted garden and is available every day until Christmas for children to visit or have a photo.
Centre manager Kristy Pascoe said Capalaba Central was excited to give back this Christmas, with a calendar full of events and activities that would make customers smile.
Volunteers from The Rotary Club of Wellington Point will offer gold coin donation gift wrapping from December 3 with funds raised donated to Queensland Police Legacy and Crime Stoppers.
