LOCAL jewellery designers were thrilled to be second time winners at this year’s BaR awards.
MN Jewellery Design owner Matthew Neale said he was surprised when their Wellington Point business was called out for the Best Jewellery Business award the second year in a row.
Matthew puts his heart and soul and many long hours into the business and really appreciated the support from customers and the acknowledgement that the business was on the right track with customer service.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s a five dollar repair on a costume jewellery piece or a handmade engagement piece,” he said.
Matthew is passionate about his work and the delight it gives his customers. He recently won a prestigious “Directors Cut” award in the Australian Jewellery Design awards for a ring he made.
Matthew and his wife Rebecca have had their store for three years and master jeweller Matthew has been in the trade for 14 years.
As well as repairs, MN Jewellery Design specialises in all custom made and fully hand made jewellery.
MN Jewellery Design also sells a range of branded sterling silver jewellery, watches, pearls, opal jewellery and gold and precious stone jewellery, and has precious stones in store for people to view and purchase.
Staff at MN Jewellery Design love being part of the community, often contributing to local events such as school fetes, clubs and organisations.
