A CLEVELAND retiree is $10,000 richer after buying a winning Scratch-It from Bloomfield Street News.
A spokesperson from the Lotts said the woman planned to spend the money on a helicopter tour during an upcoming holiday to Africa.
The woman had told a Golden Casket official earlier today that she did not get too excited about the win until she visited the news agency to check.

“We had an early Christmas dinner last night and there were all these scratchies on the table for us all to enjoy while we were sitting around and I picked this one,” she said.
“When I initially scratched the ticket, I didn’t believe it. I got the magnifying glass out and made us all triple check it.
“We were in total shock at first.”
Bloomfield Street News manager Karen Merritt said she was thrilled a store customer had become $10,000 richer from the $1 Merry Christmas Instant Scratch-Its win.
“It’s great timing with Christmas just around the corner,” Ms Merritt said.
“It will definitely make for an even better Christmas, especially since she is going on a trip overseas.
“We are so excited to have sold the winning ticket.”
