POLICE are investigating a series of linked armed robberies that occurred early on Saturday at Capalaba, Mount Gravatt and Woodridge.
They have released video footage of the incident at Capalaba and another at Johnson Road, Hillcrest, together with an appeal for anyone who can provide information to help with their investigation.
A police spokesperson said that three Caucasian men had threatened a 28-year-old man as he arrived home about 10:20pm on Friday on Wardle Street, Mount Gravatt East.
The man had been driving a white 2007 Toyota Corolla sedan with Queensland registration 881 LZP.
One of the men threatened the 28-year-old with a firearm, removed him from the car and physically assaulted him before the group fled with the car.
The vehicle was then linked to an attempted robbery of a service station on Compton Road, Woodridge at about 12:04am on Saturday.
A man and a woman unsuccessfully tried to break through the front window with a hammer.
At about 12:30am, police responded to reports of an armed robbery at a service station in Johnson Road, Hillcrest.
Two people entered the service station by smashing the glass doors before a man threatened the console operator with a firearm demanding cash and cigarettes.
A woman also threatened the console operator with a crowbar.
The pair fled with cash and cigarettes in the car that had been linked to the two earlier incidents.
Police were then called to an armed robbery at a service station on Mount Cotton Road, Capalaba about 2:15am where offenders had smashed their way inside, produced a firearm and demanded cash and cigarettes.
They fled with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
The stolen vehicle has not been found.
Police are seeking any witnesses or dash-cam footage from anyone who was driving in these areas and times to contact police.
