Pianist Peter Crane and flautist Helen Lowe will raise funds to support the Redland City choir with a concert entitled Flute Fantasies being staged from 7pm on February 12 at the RPAC auditorium.
The concert features the music of Handel, Mozart, Faure, Saint Saens, Mouquet, Chaminade and John Rutter and combines the musical experience of its two musicians. Mr Crane is the accompanist for the choir and the organist for the Cleveland Uniting Church.
Ms Lowe majors in flute and baroque flute.
Redland City Choir director Anita Thomas said the concert would raise our funds for the Redlands White Christmas concert 2019.
“It will be a great time to relax and enjoy our talented performers and also get to know each other at supper afterwards. This is open to everyone who enjoys fine music in the community,” she said.
Tickets are $20/$15/$10 and can be booked on 0413 039 329.
