Folk Redlands welcomes in 2019 with a backyard jam amongst whirring cicadas and the smell of freshly mown lawn from 2pm to 5pm on January 20.

The usual venue at Indigiscapes is undergoing renovations for the next six to eight months, so Folk Redlands’ first event for the year will be hosted at a private residence in Mount Cotton.

The afternoon will be a relaxed affair with continuous blackboard performances, promising plenty of variety. Performers will have ample opportunities to share a few songs.

Patrons are invited to bring a plate of food to share and BYO drinks.

The area is roofed, so the event will proceed rain or shine.

Entry is free. Venue details are with Chrissy on 0408 633 429.

Folk Redlands is currently negotiating a temporary venue for the next few months. More details will follow on facebook.com/FolkRedlands and folkredlands.org

Folk Redlands is a not for profit club with a focus on bringing people together through music. Regular events are held on the third Sunday of the month.
