
A BOY and woman have been seriously hurt in a two-car crash at Alexandra Hills overnight.
The incident happened about 9pm at the intersection of Vienna Road and Wimborne Street.
The nine-year-old boy and 28-year-old woman were travelling in a four-wheel-drive when it was rolled into a fence after a crash involving another car.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the boy suffered head, pelvic, arm and leg injuries and was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The woman had arm, leg and head injuries and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the driver, a 28-year-old man, was also hurt. He was taken in stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with chest pains.
The spokesperson said two men in the other car – a 20-year-old driver and 18-year-old passenger – were taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with minor injuries.
The spokesperson said police were investigating the crash.
