EVER wanted to try cornhole?
It’s not a food, but an American sport introduced to the Redlands by former Mississippi man Wayne Striplin.
Mr Striplin, who founded the Cornhole League of Australia, is running weekly tournaments for the next six weeks at Victoria Point Tavern.

The quirky games features corn kernel-filled sacks, which are thrown at slanted boards from a distance.
The player earns one point for every sack that hits the board, with three points awarded for bags thrown into a hole in the board.
The first to earn 21 points, wins.
Mr Striplin said the sport was a perfect drinking game but was taken seriously in the United States, where it was played as a professional sport in the ESPN Pro League.
He said he aimed at cornhole becoming Redlanders game of choice.
Last year, about 220 people learned how to play the sport after Mr Striplin began teaching it in October.
“We had a very successful launch to our cornhole league in 2018 and are set to to commence our first of six cornhole tournaments,” he said.
He said everyone was invited to visit Victoria Point Tavern to try the game.
Tournaments are run on Tuesday nights from January 15 until February 12.
Entry is $10 per person.
Registration and warm-ups begins at 6pm, with doubles rounds from 6.30pm.
