UNKNOWN offenders cut electricity to an Agathis Place home and damaged perspex barrier on a security door as they attempted to break in.
Police said an occupant noticed the home’s air conditioning was switched off about 5.15am on Sunday, which is believed to be the time of offence.
Damage to the security door’s perspex guard was found later that morning, police said.

A TOYOTA LandCruiser was stolen from a Starwood Court home overnight on Tuesday, January 22.
Police said the car’s keys had been left inside the car.
The vehicle was later found by its owner at Jon Street, police said.

A VEHICLE was stolen from a Gladdyr Street address overnight on Tuesday, February 22.
Police said the 2000 Holden Rodeo utility was hot-wired.
The owner later found the vehicle near a bus stop at School Road before using their keys to drive it away.

Police said car was unlocked with its keys inside when it was stolen.

A REDLAND Bay Road shed’s door was damaged sometime on either Wednesday, January 23 or Thursday, January 24 last week.
Break and enter
Keys, cash and jewellery, including two $600 watches, were stolen from a Holland Crescent apartment sometime between 2pm and 7pm on Saturday.
Capalaba police said unknown offenders removed fly screen on a kitchen window before entering the home.

ABOUT 40 pairs of scissors, four sets of clippers and $200 were been stolen from a Dan Street hairdressing shop.
Police said the outlet was targeted sometime between Friday last week and Monday.
Unknown offenders had smashed the store’s front sliding door to gain entry.
A cabinet was also damaged during the break-in, police said.
Burglary
POLICE are investigating a burglary reported to have happened at a Tauris Road home.
Capalaba police said a woman, aged in her 80s, had told police she was woken up by two strangers in her bedroom earlier this week.
She told police the two people had fled.
Drawers in her home had been opened and her phone stolen during the burglary, police said.
