A monthly changeover of artworks keeps the Old School House gallery fresh and vibrant. The diversity of the arts practice of the gallery membership ensures a variety of work to please all tastes.
Available at the gallery are paintings in various mediums, bespoke jewellery, pottery, linocut, photography, textiles, timber and creations from found objects, as well as a large variety of cards and handmade gifts.
Our current all members exhibition continues until Sunday, February 24. This exhibition showcases the exceptional talent and multiplicity of our members and with all works for sale it is the perfect place to find that unique gift or lasting memory.
Our next exhibition Natural Chemistry features drawings and oil paintings by Katia Strounina. Katia has enjoyed painting and drawing for as long as she can remember and is inspired to share through her paintings and drawings the vast wilderness and beauty of the world which we all share.
She delicately captures the intricate interplay of shape and colour, past and future, dream and reality in her wonderfully expressive and beautifully presented small works. The exhibition runs from March 1 – March 31, with an opening night on Saturday, March 2 from 6pm.
Everyone is welcome to come to enjoy the artworks, meet the in-focus artist. The gallery is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9.30am to 4.30pm at 124 -125 Shore Street North. Entry is free.
