If everything goes to plan for WA paceman Jhye Richardson, his unique shoe messages will be unveiled to a worldwide audience later this year.
Richardson announced himself as a star on the rise with a strong display in the two-Test series against Sri Lanka.
The 22-year-old snared figures of 3-26 and 2-19 on debut, and is now shaping as a strong chance to make the Ashes and World Cup squads.
Richardson has been known to write messages on his shoes to keep himself motivated during games - a ritual that started under Justin Langer's guidance at WA.
During the Tests against Sri Lanka, Richardson wrote 'KISS' (keep it simple stupid), and 'Ruthless'.
"I get asked a lot about what I write on my shoes and what I had during the Test series," Richardson said.
"It will probably be something that sticks around - just to keep things simple and stay in the contest as much as I can."
Richardson will fly to India in the coming days ahead of the five-match ODI series and two T20s.
Injuries to Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc means Richardson is likely to be handed more opportunities to shine.
Strong performances in India will boost Richardson's World Cup and Ashes selection hopes.
But the right-arm paceman says he can't afford to look any further ahead than the matches in India.
Australia play India in T20s on February 24 and 27, before the ODI series starts on March 2.
Richardson was honoured on Friday when he was inducted into the WACA's Test Player Walk, which features every WA player to have notched a Test.
He paid special tribute to his parents during the ceremony.
"(Their) sacrifice has been massive," Richardson said.
"All of the driving around they did for me when I was younger, the days off work - sacrificing their lives for me means a lot.
"I'll be forever grateful."
