POLICE are investigating two thefts from cars at Macleay Island.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said both cars had been parked at Southsea Terrace when they were unlawfully entered and stolen from.
The spokesperson said the first unlawful entry and theft happened between Wednesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 7.
“The person fled the scene with a quantity of property which had been taken from the vehicle,” the spokesperson said.
Another car parked at Southsea Terrace was targeted sometime between Friday, February 15 and Monday, February 18.
“Police are appealing to members of the public to to assist with their investigations,” the spokesperson said.
