There's a thriving community in Ormiston, with bee flow hives and a place to purchase local honey, a men’s shed, vegetable patch and regular happy hours.
Sounds great right? What you might not realise is this special community has its home at retirement village Ormiston Rise.
Ormiston Rise is part of the Tranquil Retirement Group, along with Tranquil Waters retirement village.
All villas are also designed with smart, modern, energy efficient feature inclusions ... allowing for considerable savings on day-to-day expenses.

For over two decades and across two generations, the Tranquil Retirement Group business has been based exclusively in the Redlands.
"So, all our decisions are made right here by committed people that you can talk to in person," retirement living consultant Ian Mundey said.
Ormiston Rise is coming up to its three-year anniversary since opening a sales office with its first stage back in March 2016, with the intention to provide retirement village villas for local and interstate residents in a quiet and peaceful area of the Redlands.

"Today, three years later, we have now completed 50 villas," Mr Mundey said, who has been with Ormiston Rise from the start.
Ormiston Rise offers residents independent retirement village villas, priced from $449,000. There is presently a special $10k relocation package on offer.
"Initially, Ormiston Rise will comprise a range of low-set villas, each offering either one bedroom plus a study, two bedrooms or two bedrooms plus a study, nine foot ceilings, spacious living areas and fully air conditioned comfort," Mr Mundey said.
"All villas are also designed with smart, modern, energy efficient feature inclusions such as LED lights, instantaneous hot water and an embedded electrical network, allowing for considerable savings on day-to-day expenses."
Mr Mundey enjoys seeing the village's effect on the community.
"What I like about working in our community is seeing residents move in, then start to relax and enjoy the companionship of the other residents and the organised activities in Club Ormiston," he said.
The sales office is open seven days a week from 10am until 4pm. Visit ormistonrise.com.au for more details.
