POLICE are seeking a witness who stopped at a fatal crash in Redland Bay on Friday morning to contact them.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said they would like to speak to the driver of a Suzuki Swift who stopped at the scene and is believed to have witnessed the crash.
The spokesperson said investigations indicated a Hyundai sedan turned right from Serpentine Creek Road into Cleveland-Redland Bay Road and collided with a Toyota utility travelling south on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road.
A 70-year-old Beaudesert woman who was driving the Hyundai died at the scene.
The Hyundai was engulfed by flames when emergency services arrived.
The driver of the utility received minor injuries.
