A GROUP of craft, artistic and literary folk from Coochiemudlo Island have banded together to provide visitors and locals with a showcase of talent available on the island.
Island local Carolyn Brammer has brought everyone together for the Coochie Showcase event to be held on Sunday from 9am to 3pm.
Bay FM will broadcast from Main Beach for the event and there will be music, an art show and market stalls with the focus on local artisans.

A writers corner will showcase books published by island residents.
Attendees will be able to go on escorted historic tours of the island and join in family beach games.
Ms Brammer said there would be a beach art competition.
"Groups are given about one square metre of beach to create a picture using whatever they find on the beach," she said.
"The theme will be Respecting our Bay.
"Once the tide comes in all evidence of the activity will be washed away."
