REDLANDS-BAYSIDE Probus Club is under new leadership, with a new executive team elected at the group's annual general meeting on Thursday, March 21.
The meeting saw Bevan Clulow take over from Phillip Horton as the group's president.
Mr Horton said his two years of leadership, first as vice president then as president, had been rewarding.
"(My years as vice president and president) have seen the club change from male only to an open membership for all who want to join," he said.
"In that time we celebrated our 30th birthday in 2017 and have had many trips away with our caravan and cabin group, picnic in the park days and our dining out group where we go to local restaurants and clubs in the district monthly."
Mr Clulow said he was looking forward to the next 12 months and hoped to build club membership numbers from about 70 to 100.
Also in the newly-appointed executive team are Kent Bourne, who will be stepping into the role of secretary, and treasurer Dot Henley.
The club meets at the Cleveland Sharks Bowls Club on the third Thursday of each month from 9.30am.
The next meeting will be held on April 18 with founding member John Jenkins as the guest speaker.
