DUNWICH State School students have had a true blue outback experience courtesy of local police.
On Monday, March 26 and Tuesday, March 27, Senior Police Liaison Officer Tom Govenor and Senior Constable Jai Taylor accompanied students on excursions as part of the Triple A Program.
The program was first rolled out in 2006 by Senior Police Liaison Officer Govenor in conjunction with the Minjerribah Morrgumpin Elders and staff from Dunwich State School to address truancy, build a rapport with law enforcement and to foster respect with local police.

Students from years four to six spent the day at Paradise Country on the Gold Coast shearing sheep, throwing boomerangs, milking cows and making billy tea.
Students also mingled with kangaroos, koalas and other farm animals.
Younger students from prep to year three travelled to Point Lookout and enjoyed the scenic track around the gorge walk.
Students also has the chance to chat with the local lifeguards, enjoy a barbecue lunch and plenty of games, swimming and ice cream.
