The annual talent quest will be run by the Redlands Modern Country Music Club at its clubhouse at Pinklands sports reserve, Cleveland Redland Bay Road, Thornlands from May 3 to 5.
Allen McMonagle said the quest was now in its 39th year, with bigger festivities planned for next year.
The quest is open to all ages with sections to include vocal, country rock, bush ballad, gospel, instrumental, rockabilly and songwriters with categories for groups, duos and performer's choice.
A highlight will be the Anything Goes section being held on Sunday afternoon. There will also be a performance on Saturday night by last year's best overall winner Georgie Taylor.
The competition offers cash prizes up to $1700 and trophies. Limited camping is available on site and there will be a barbecue lunch served each lunch and chicken dinner on Saturday night. There will also be a licensed bar and coffee and cake stall.
