QUEENSLAND's peak tourism body has named Scenic Rim destinations, Logan Entertainment Centre and bayside operators in their list of top experiences across the state.
More than 1000 operators were included in this year's Best of Queensland Experiences released by Tourism and Events Queensland this month.
A TED spokesperson said operators with a live listing on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse who consistently exceeded consumer expectations made the cut.
"The program is based on an independent set of criteria that incorporates online customer reviews, responds to consumer expectations and reflects industry best practice," the spokesperson said.
Several Redlands operators were among those on Brisbane's bayside that were included.
The Lighthouse Restaurant, Alexandra Hills Hotel, Bacchus Brewing Co, Cleveland Motor Inn, Allure Resort Straddie, Aria Cruises, Stradbroke Flyers and Straddie Adventures were some of those that were named.
Scenic Rim businesses like Witches Falls Winery and Cellar Door, Cedar Creek Lodges and Mt Tamborine Motel were also featured.
Operators listed as a Best of Queensland Experience are prioritised across TEQ's marketing and activities, including priority placement on Queensland.com.
Councillor Steve Swenson the Logan Entertainment Centre had been awarded 95 out of a possible 100 points.
"We are extremely proud that the Logan Entertainment Centre is delivering a great experience to the people who frequent the facility," he said.
