Applications are open for musicians, visual artists, workshop presenters and market stall holders to be a part of this year's Island Vibe, to be held at Home Beach, North Stradbroke Island from October 24 to 27.
The festival opened artist and market applications on its website (islandvibe.com.au) on April 15. Applications for volunteers open on July 1.
Now in its 14th year, the festival is Australia's longest running outdoor festival devoted to reggae, soul, world music and bass culture.

Those wanting easy accomodation options are invited to look at this year's Stoketopia camping area, at Adder Rock. The camp ground offers set up tents, mattresses and sleeping bags with shared areas offering doof stick making, watercolour painting and private daily yoga. There is free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, smashed avocado breakfast and fairy bread and an outdoor dressing room with face paint and eco glitter.

Festival buses are also being run from Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise and Brisbane for $110 return, including ferry charges.
