Mother's Day will be celebrated at the Redland Museum with a high tea from 10.30am to noon on Wednesday, May 8.
Entertainment will be provided by Dance Kaleidoscope which returns to the museum to perform English folk dancing with folk musicians. The group will be wearing fine regency costumes, with many of the costumes hand made in the traditional style. Pianist Owen Friar will also bring the pianola to life as guests arrive.
The event offers a selection of gourmet sandwiches, petit fours and freshly baked scones and jam and cream, all made by museum volunteers. There will be bottomless tea and coffee.
Cost is $30 and $25 for members. Book on 3286 3494 or redlandmuseum.org.au
