Three years after appearing as the "crazy eyed" suitor hoping to win Georgia Love's heart on The Bachelorette, Ben Lyall is to return to the small screen.
The 35-year-old Illawarra coal-miner and his 28-year-old girlfriend Christie have signed up for Prime7's reality show The Super Switch, which begins airing in coming weeks.
Six couples will put their relationships on the line and switch partners to find out if they're really with "the one". Couple therapist Guy Vicars and psychologist Jacqui Manning will guide them through the process.
Despite Christie being "the calmness" in Ben's "chaotic life", the pair don't live together after dating for a year and struggle to find one-on-one time.
"If we're not going to move forward, I'm really not going to waste my effort with this person," Christie said.
She said her feelings are on pause, while her partner has said he is focused on setting up a financial future.
"Christie is more focused than me on settling," Lyall said.
"If this experiment is successful then I can probably clear out a few drawers for her."
