The Red Coast art gallery will open at 335 Bloomfield Street, Cleveland on May 26.
Operated by Leo and Jo Herreygers, the gallery features scene scapes of the Redlands, faithfully recreated by Mr Herreygers.
The gallery also features a music and entertainment room with portraits of music legends and entertainment and a library room filled with surreal art works.
Mr Herreygers has been a working artist in Queensland for 35 years.
After completing a degree in Art in Brisbane, Mr Herreygers started out with Expo 88 painting the Piazza floor, DPI Building and British pavilion. He became a scenic artist for Scenery Makers Australia and for the Queensland Theatre Company, Queensland Ballet, Opera Queensland, Queensland Youth Ballet and for corporate staging and events.
He was a regular exhibitor at the Grand View hotel.
The gallery space will also incorporate the work of other artists. The gallery will be open from Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm or by appointment.
