BARBECUES and craft beer will be on everyone's lips when the Bayside BBQ and Beer Roadshow returns to Cleveland later this month.
If you fancy yourself as a barbecue expert, you can buy a judge's ticket that covers tastings of food submitted for the Queensland BBQ Championships, or go for the VIP experience with exclusive seating on the Redland Museum verandah, a round of drinks and carnivore's feasting platters.
The day and night event offers a mouth-watering selection of barbecued meats from 15 food vendors and more than 100 beers from Australian and international breweries.
Entertainment will include the barbecue championship, demonstrations, activities for children, rockabilly bands and eating competitions.
Master craft beer brewers will also share their tips and tricks.
Event director Julian D'Souza said the roadshow was a celebration of the outdoor life enjoyed in Queensland.
"We are introducing an exciting roving event that brings to life Australia's love for food markets, barbecue and craft beers with education, competitions and unique experiences in a festival environment," Mr D'Souza said.
The Bayside BBQ and Beer Roadshow will be at Redland Showgrounds, Cleveland on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30.
Tickets for adults (18 years and over) are $10 (plus booking fee) online in a limited first release and then $15 online plus booking fee or $20 at the gate.
Entry is free for under 18s, who must be accompanied by an adult.
