Your loved one may have recently been discharged from hospital and require temporary assistance with cooking, laundry and transportation.
They may be less mobile and experience challenges with activities of daily living.
Or they may be living with dementia and could benefit from ongoing help with medication reminders and companionship.
No matter the circumstances, Home Instead Senior Care (HISC) is there to assist and each client is unique.
HISC Redlands and Logan business manager Victoria Meyers said staff tailored their personalised care to suit the individual needs and preferences of every person, enabling them to remain in their home for longer.
"Seniors are most comfortable when [they] are at home. They feel safe, secure and relaxed and this feeling is even more significant as we age," she said. "The fact is, 90 per cent of Australians want to live in their own home as they grow older and we are committed to helping seniors and their families achieve this."
Birkdale based Victoria and husband Aaron introduced HISC to the area six years ago when they could not find suitable care for Aaron's grandparents who wanted to age in their own home.
Last year they won the Redlands Business of the year award and now have more than 100 staff caregivers, who are the heart of the business, as well as care managers and service training, engagement, care and administration coordinators.
"Whether we provide a bit of home help and companionship or support people with high care needs, chronic disease or terminal illness approaching their end of life, they can continue to live safely, independently and comfortably in their own home with the right in-home care and support."
The services HISC provide include home help, personal care and assistance, companionship, care management and 24 hour, dementia, palliative, respite and transition care.
Victoria said the caregivers serve as a reliable and trusted partner, delivering their quality care services for clients to continue living safely, independently and happily at home.

As Australians continue to live longer, the traditional nursing home option is becoming less and less desirable for families who wish to support their parents and grandparents to continue living in their own homes.
And the number of Australians aged 65 years or over is projected to more than double in the next forty years.
"We love to change the face of ageing and provide clients a level of customer services that they have not received from other care providers in the community," Victoria said.
