Emergency services at Capalaba Park shopping centre crash

A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with chest injuries after a two car crash near Capalaba Park shopping centre on Wednesday morning.

Fire and emergency, police and ambulance services attended the crash on Redland Bay Road near the shopping centre entrance at about 8.35am on Wednesday.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said vehicles had temporarily blocked the road.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said one crew had been called to the crash and had made the site safe for police and ambulance officers.

The woman was transported to Redland Hospital in a stable condition.
