Thursday, July 18, is the 40th annual and consecutive Howeston Pro-Am.
This is one of the longest running golf events in Queensland, second only to the Dysart Pro-Am.
"This year's event, the pros will play for a $12,000 prize purse. A crowd favourite event will be the pros longest drive competition on the first fairway at the end of play," said Lynn Weston, who is the original part owner of the course.
There will be hot food and cold drinks available all day and free entry for spectators.
The event will also be live streamed to the 'Howeston Golf Course Birkdale' Facebook page for those who are unable to attend.
