Seniors Week August 17 to 31 with the Seniors Walk on Sunday August 18 and a mobile library will at DSC during this event. Registrations for the walk open mid-July. Extended Seniors Week activities include the Variety Concert at RPAC during which Blue Care Inspiring Seniors Awards will be presented. Tickets are free.
Redlands Seniors Network Meets first Thursdays of the month at the Donald Simpson Centre 9am to 11am.
REDAND PROBUS CLUB
We are a Combined Friendship Club for Retired or semi-Retired Men & Women who are interested in fun, friendship & fellowship. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month (except December) at the Sharks Sporting Club, Victoria Point.
Meetings start at 9.30am and generally include a guest speaker covering a wide range of interesting topics. Members get together for a friendly chat at Morning Tea. There are many activities arranged throughout each month which include Sporting Activities, such as golf, bowls & petanque. Social Activities include luncheons, outings, concerts and theatre parties. We also have special interest groups, such as Caravanning, Armchair Travel, Morning Chat & Sailing.

FOLK REDLANDS
Folk Redlands holds regular live music events on the third Sunday of each month 1-4pm. Events start with Blackboard performance opportunities followed by feature guest artist, and periodically will include music related workshops eg. singing, guitar, songwriting, rhythm etc. Public welcome, or become a member for just $5/ year.

MEMORY TREE
Redlands Branch of Cancer Council Queensland invite people to join them at the Memory Tree in the park near Raby Bay Harbour, just down from the Railway Station on Sunday July 21 from 11.30pm.
This is an informal get-together to remember those we have lost to cancer. Anyone is invited to join us. Ribbons will be available to write a message to your loved one and tie onto the tree. We will have some food to share if you wish to join us for a chat. Enquiries Pam 0408 550 435.

LIVING EDGE PEER SUPPORT
Have you experienced suicidal distress in the last 12 months and would like some extra support provided by peers who have also overcome the impacts of their own suicidal distress? Living EDge is a peer-delivered program for people to explore and transform their experience of suicidal distress. It provides 1:1 support, group support, self-management resources and a peer -hosted Living EDge room as an alternative to the Redland Hospital Emergency Department.
Living EDge is a free service to people 16 years and older living in the Redlands and Wynnum areas. This program is funded by Queensland Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch and strongly supported by the Bayside Mental health teams and Redland Hospital. REDLANDS QUILT EXTRAVAGANZA
The biennial Redlands Quilt Extravaganza is on again at Redland Performing Arts Centre, Cleveland.It is a weekend of amazing fabric and textile arts, showcasing the enormous talents of artists from Redland and surrounding areas.
There are quilts, embroidery, lace and other fabric on display, exhibits, and demonstrations. Open to the public with $5 entry.
