JIMBOOMBA'S most popular annual car show is set to rev up this Saturday.
The sixth Rockin' Jimmy's car show is expected to draw a crowd of up to 1500 people and feature about 150 show cars at the Anglican Parish on East Street.
Rockin' Jimmy's will include a Rockabilly Fashion Parade, live music, market stalls and kids area with a jumping castle, face painting and games.
Car enthusiasts will go into the running to win one of 23 trophies and are required to enter their vehicles at 6am.
Spectators are welcome to inspect the car display from 8am on July 13 with a mystery custom car to be unveiled during the event.
Father Dan Talbot said Rockin' Jimmy's was a way for the church to connect with the local community.
"We designed it as family friendly day so people can enjoy themselves and build comm spirit.
Display cars will take part in a post Rockin' Jimmy's cruise down Cusack Lane from 2pm.
