REDLANDS Rugby League Club will host a ladies' day on Saturday, July 20 at Pinklands Sporting Complex.
The event will celebrate the club's women's teams, with money raised on the day to be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Redlands Rugby League Club president Todd Flahey said the club had made significant strides in growing the women's game over the past decade.
"As a club we have come a very long way with having girls and women play our sport," he said.
"In 2010 we had only three registered female players and this year we have around 100.
"The future of this sport is in the ladies competitions and we are very proud of what our girls and women are achieving, so we are celebrating it."
The ladies' day function begins at 1pm and will coincide with a triple header of seniors matches.
The Redlands women's division three side, which has lost only one game this season, take on Inala in the first match of the day where they could clinch the minor premiership.
All players will wear special pink socks to mark the occasion.
Tickets to event cost $50 and include champagne and finger food.
Prizes will be on offer for raffle winners and best dressed.
