STAFF at CommBank Victoria Point donned their best sleepwear on Friday in support of the Pyjama Foundation.
The bank held a bake sale and sold special pens to raise money for the foundation as part of National Pyjama Day.
The Pyjama Foundation provides educational support to children in foster care through the 'love of learning' program.
Minister for Child Safety Di Farmer said all money raised would help the foundation to recruit, train and support the Pyjama Angels that administered the program.
"These volunteers give up their own time to help children with reading, literacy and other skills and by doing this they are really fostering a love of learning," she said.
"We want every child in Queensland to have equal opportunities and a bright future, and the work of the Pyjama Angels is helping us achieve this."
Pyjama Foundation founder Bronwyn Sheehan said children in care needed extra support to help them towards a brighter future.
"Last year we had 120,000 participants who kept their pyjamas on for the day raising a whopping $256,000," she said.
"As our largest fundraising campaign of the year, these donations are absolutely crucial in allowing us to continue bringing many more Pyjama Angel volunteers into the lives of children in care."
