The annual general meeting resulted in a change to the management committee with incoming president, James Williams and Secretary, Kari Williams joining Marrissa Landers (treasurer), Lee Brand (club operations) and Stephen Schneider (baseball operations) on the management team.

In the past two weeks, Rays have held two sausage sizzles at Rebel Sport, Capalaba, and manned a recruiting stall at the Coolwynpin State School Koala Fair.

There have also been working bees to get ready for sign-on days, with another planned for August 31.

The first junior "come and try" will be on Tuesday and Saturday this week with sign-on after Saturday's session. Age groups range from four years to over 35 years.
