At Faith Lutheran College Redlands, teaching staff know the importance of developing strong literacy skills right from the start of your child's learning journey.
In Junior School, the Speech Sound Pics (SSP) literacy program will have your child engaged in learning to read and thriving on understanding the complicated English language as they learn their 'monster sounds'.
They will begin to understand how words are made up of different sounds and how these sounds can be written in so many different ways.
"Our teaching staff are committed to learning through play whilst, at the same time, delivering a program that will see students of all learning abilities and styles thrive," said head of Junior School Jodi Blackwell. "Our early years program is one of the best in the Redlands."
Opportunities for your child matter at Faith and, as you enter the middle primary years, your child will take part in the Instrumental Music Immersion program.
"Our students are taught by a specialised instrumental tutor how to play an instrument of their choice, the discipline of practice, culminating with a performance opportunity at the end of the program," Ms Blackwell said.
