WOOLWORTHS shoppers can buy a $2 token to help children in hospitals from August 21 until September 10.
The campaign will help children like three-year-old Callum from Alexandra Hills who had major surgery to help him breathe after doctors found he had airway deformities when he was nine weeks old.
Callum has since been diagnosed with epilepsy and suffers from nocturnal and absent seizures triggered by tiredness and stress.
The $2 walls tokens can be added to grocery shops at Woolworths supermarkets. The money will be given to the Children's Hospital Foundation which will give money to 20 hospitals in Queensland and northern NSW including Redland Hospital.
Wishlists from the hospitals include equipment like specialised cots for premature babies, therapy equipment to encourage development and simulation equipment to aid in education.
Children's Hospital Foundation chief executive Rosie Simpson said the foundation hoped to raise more than the $570,000 donated last year.
