REDLANDS gymnasts have impressed judges at states, coming home with a slew of medals and several state titles.
From Redland City Gymsports, 15-year-old Charlotte Johnstone showed off her trampoline skills, placing first in the under 17 double mini trampoline event, fourth in the trampoline and third in her tumbling event.
Rylee Watson, 11, took out gold medals in trampoline and double mini trampoline, while Niall McAuley won bronze in level 4 under 11 trampoline and double mini.
James Milne, Aidan McKenzie, Andrew Fish, Jackson Williams, Millie Mangan and Bella Malcolm also made the finals in their events.
Mount Cotton aerobic gymnast Loralie Gould - who trains at Premier Gymnastics - was the level 5 state champion in intermediate multiple, along with her partner Ava Challen.
Fellow Premier athlete Jayla Thirkettle, 10, took out third place all around in level 5 junior rhythmic gymnastics, while level 8 athlete Aileen Chiang took out second place in clubs and third in ball, coming fourth all around.
Cameron Laskus won gold for Level 6 overall, while fellow Premier athletes Lucy Guy and Jamie Culpitt took out silver and bronze.
Meanwhile, gymnasts from Birkdale's River City Gymnastics took home a slew of medals in both rhythmic and aerobic gymnastics.
Birkdale State School students Abigail Collins and Grace Edwards were selected on the Queensland team for the AeroSchools national competition next month after taking out the top prize in their category.
In AeroDance division 2, Birkdale's Brooke and Alexis Lane were among the six-strong team to take home the gold medal, while Grace Edwards won silver in the level 3 mini division.
Rose Harborne was named the level 4 junior state champion, while athletes Lenni Wesche, Sophie Venn and Abigail Collins also made the top six in their categories.
Aerobic gymnasts from Alexandra Hills club Hi-NRG had their fair share of podium time, with seven athletes taking home medals in individual and team events.
Ella Barker and Imogen Sealey came second and third respectively in the level 3 intermediate individual events, while Sienna Maze and Aliyah Mierswa scored silver and bronze in level 4.
Mali Jackman and Hannah Wellard teamed up to win gold in the level 3 intermediate multiple event, and Ruby Allen took out third place in the level 3 mini competition.
