The people's choice winner has yet to be announced against a swag of Coochie Art show winners.
The show continues at RPAC until August 24. The many entries were judged by Cees Sliedrecht in various categories. Judges choice was given to Hilary Wakeling for Cleveland Lighthouse.
Winners are oils/acylics: first Hilary Wakeling for Cleveland Lighthouse, second Ken Fuller for Drought and Dust, Qld 2018, highly commended Anita Broome for Bearded Iris, Anita Broome for Bold Boulders and Diane Gillham for The Dancers.
Gillian Rich gained first place for Cascade of Chrysies with second to Robin Matfin for Lilies in the Field in watercolour and in open media first place went to Gillian Rich for Cool Chair with a commended to Anita Broome for Gecko Kingdom.
First place for pastel, drawing, pen and wash went to Beryl Home for Grevillea with highly commended to Sue Thomas for Cock of the Walk and Anita Broome for My Little Ballerina. Small works first place went to Jan Cox for Sablet Splendour with highly commended to Beryl Home for Peek-a-Boo and Sue Thomas for Cyclamen.
