Wake up and smell the flowers - spring has sprung at Renaissance Retirement Living.
Renaissance in Victoria Point is holding its eleventh spectacular annual Spring Fair on Sunday, September 15 at 10am - 2pm.
The successful annual fair day has grown into a major community event which attracts crowds of visitors from all over South East Queensland to experience the fun activities, market stalls, street entertainment and delicious food on offer.
Start by strolling up the main street and you will find many market stalls, entertaining street performers and the ever popular Renaissance 'Plant Stall' selling a wide variety of plants and flowers to the public at great prices.
This year local entertainer Andrew Carins will perform songs by Elton John in the lounge area and the village's resident band 'The Living Legends' will play classic hits on the terrace during lunch.
Take a stroll along to the terrace area and don't forget to stop in at the workshop to check out what the woodchippers have been creating lately.
The Leisure Centre precinct will be the heart of the fair where you'll discover the amazing facilities available to the residents, as well as enjoy some shopping at the many wonderful market stalls.
Don't forget that Christmas is just around the corner.
Walk out on to the covered terrace and you will find a hub of entertainment and activities and of course more market stalls.
You can relax with a lovely Devonshire tea or stop for a barbecue lunch, or both.
