TWO miniature horses, a goat and two dogs have delighted residents at the Victoria Point Adventist Retirement Village.
The animals are part of Jodie Alderton's Harmony Hooves Healing Hearts program.
Ms Alderton rescues horses and runs equine therapy programs, taking horses into aged care facilities and helping children with behavioural and other issues.
The miniature horses, followed by a five-week-old goat and two dogs, walking through the corridors of the building surprised residents, bringing smiles and laughs to their faces.
Last month Adventist Aged Care residents hopped on board a ferry on Sealink's Southern Moreton Bay Islands route to mark Seniors Week.
In another event the same week four of the centre's residents - aged between 79 and 88 - went on a cruise from Weinam Creek to Peel Island on the Redland Bay Water Police barge.
