POLICE would like to speak to the driver of a red sedan - pictured in dashcam footage - in connection with a fatal motorbike crash at Capalaba on Monday.
Investigators believe the driver of the vehicle which could be a Holden Commodore may have information that could help police.
Forensic crash unit investigators have appealed for witnesses who have not yet contacted them or anyone who has dashcam footage to make contact with police.
Initial inquiries indicated the 31-year-old Birkdale man was travelling westbound on Finucane Road around 3.40pm when he lost control of his motorbike near Elmhurst Street.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 31-YEAR-OLD Birkdale man has died following a motorbike crash at Capalaba on Monday.
Police said that preliminary investigations indicated the man was travelling westbound on Finucane Road around 3.40pm when he lost control of his motorbike near Elmhurst Street.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Forensic Crash investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to contact police.

POLICE have appealed to motorists to avoid Finucane Road near Elmhurst Street as there are major delays.
Traffic westbound is being diverted down Elmhurst Street, off Finucane Road.

PARAMEDICS are treating a motorcyclist who has critical injuries after the crash on Finucane Road.
Police said that local diversions were in place.

TRAFFIC heading towards Capalaba on Finucane Road is being diverted onto Elmhurst Street due to a crash.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said three crews were on the scene of the crash involving a single motorcycle.
The crash occurred near Elmhurst Street at 3.40pm.
