CARAVANS, four-wheel-drives and camping will be the talk of Cleveland when an expo for lovers of the great outdoors returns to the Redland showgrounds this weekend.
Event organiser Bob Carroll said the expo would attract people of all ages and interests.
"This type of event delivers products that help people enjoy the Redlands," he said.
"We try and make it a well rounded event for people of different tastes."
Local and regional businesses will showcase camper trailers, caravans, holiday destinations, camping accessories and four-wheel drives.
Mr Carroll said tech-savvy caravans would be popular with young adventure seekers.
"What we are seeing is buyers are not just grey nomads anymore," he said.
"The younger audiences coming in do not get as emotionally attached to leisure vehicles as older generations.
"If it does not work for them within 12 months they will flip it and buy a new one."
A professional fishing competition will run at Raby Bay during the expo.
Other interesting places to visit include a blacksmith's hut, fishing tank and Redland Museum.
Tents, fridges and other prizes will be up for grabs.
The event will run from 8.30am to 4pm on Friday, 8.30am to 5pm on Saturday and 8.30am to 4pm on Sunday.
More than 15,000 people are expected to pass through the gates during the three days.
