POLICE have appealed for information that may help an investigation into an alleged stealing on Macleay Island.
The incident occurred between September 9 and 16 from a building on Russell Terrace.
Police said the driver of a vehicle who was allegedly sighted nearby at 1.10pm on Sunday, September 15 might be able to help with the investigation.
"Police are seeking public assistance to ascertain if any one has witnessed the incident, or has dash cam footage of any vehicles in the area around that time," police said.
"Police are also particularly interested in hearing from any boaties who may have been at the Macleay Island Jetty on Sunday, September 15 at 1.10am."
