ART ON FRIDAY
Meets every Friday from 12.30pm-3.30pm at the Redland Community Centre, 29 Loraine St Capalaba. There is a small fee each week for the use of the room. Members work in various medium acrylic, oil, watercolour and pencil. Phone Eileen on 0431 908 632.
AMATEUR RADIO
Bayside District Amateur Radio Society Inc http://www.bdars.org.au is continuing one-day training courses to allow people to gain their foundation licence. Courses are at weekends at Alexandra Hills High School. Most people, if they are motivated, can do the course on the Saturday, and pass the examination on the following Sunday. BDARS is growing. We recently won a grant from Redlands Council to add a leading edge HF remote radio station at our club site at Mt Cotton.

RITA'S CRAFT CART
Handmade crafts are available from Myhorizon's Craft Cart, located in the main foyer of Myhorizon Community Centre, Runnymede Rd, Capalaba, Monday to Friday. Proceeds go into equipment and programs to support children with disability or developmental delays, run by Myhorizon's Early Intervention team.
