RESIDENTS at Adventist Aged Care Victoria Point have enjoyed a cruise week that saw them enjoy different country themes each day.
A spokeswoman for the facility said the week started with an Australian theme.
"Our Indigenous elder did a welcome to country," she said. "Then we had an Australian variety concert and a wildlife show where residents got to pat and hold snakes and other native animals."
New Zealand was the destination the following day. Entertainment - including a haka performance - was provided by the Tuhoe Ki Rangitawhiti and Te Rau Hono Tangata Kapa Haka groups.
Activities on the Mediterranean cruise day included playing bocce in the sunshine, while the Ormiston pipe band performed on the Scottish themed day.
The week ended in Hawaii where residents played bingo, did the hula and listened to a ukelele group.
