Stradbroke Island will be celebrated as an artistic hub in the My Island Home art auction being staged at the Point Lookout function centre, 83 Dickson Way on November 30.
The event features the work of Fiona Lash, Bill Lowe, Brenda Coghill, Kayleigh Specht, Jane McKinlay, Belinda Close, Julie Sisco, Donna Mifsud, Rene Clarey, David Stevens, Renata Buziak, Valerie Riches, Marg Bosscher, Bernadette Mollison, Vicki Kelleher, Amber Vicum, Andrea Verheesen, Penny Gillespie, Anaheke Metua, Craig Tapp, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, Paula Boo and Debra McCann.
Viewing is at 3pm coinciding with the silent auction. The bar opens at 5pm with the auction at 6.30pm. Entertainment is being provided by Paula Boo and Georgia Corowa.
A courtesy bus is available and can be booked on 3409 9093 by November 26.
Food and a movie will be provided for children. Sales support the Stradbroke Early learning centre.
