A COUNTRY fair at Hilliard State School on Saturday will raise money for a school-wide solar and air conditioning project.
Visitors can try their hand at sideshow alley attractions, take a spin on rides or test their skills in a giant maze and obstacle course.
They can also enjoy pony rides, a jumping castle, face painting, market stalls and a dunk tank.
As well as traditional fair food, like tornado potatoes, churros, fairy floss, a barbecue and popcorn, there will also be a saloon bar serving alcoholic drinks for the adults.
The Hit105 Black Thunders will pay a visit and So Rosie Photography will offer mini photo sessions.
A spokeswoman said there would also be a cent auction, with prizes including accommodation vouchers, an iPhone, gift packs and more.
Visitors could also bid for students' art pieces.
"Hilliard State School is very family orientated with great community spirit. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses and Hilliard families," she said.
"The P&C have been working hard all year raising as much as possible to go towards this project."
The fair will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 10am to 3pm.
Armbands will be on sale at the Fair for $35 each or individual rides will be $5 each.
Pre-purchase armbands through Flexischools.
