Three months on and the search continues for a Victoria Point resident or visitor who evidently is unaware they are $1 million richer after scoring division one in a Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The entry was one of the eight division one winners on July 27, draw 3967, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $1 million.
The entry is unregistered, which means Golden Casket officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the news.
The division one winning entry was bought at News Worx, Shop 28, 2-34 Bunker Road, Victoria Point.
Mnager Andrew Matt said he was eager to solve the mystery.
"We've spent the past three months checking all our customers' tickets, hoping to scan the division one winning entry," he said.
"...Maybe this person has completely forgotten that they had an entry into the draw but we do hope they remember soon and come in and check their ticket."
Golden Casket spokesperson Lauren Cooney said while there was still plenty of time for the winner to collect their win, the clock was ticking.
"Players in Queensland have seven years to claim their prizes but we do hope to hear from this winner much sooner than that," she said.
"It's been three months since this draw and this winner could have well and truly received their prize and planned exactly how to enjoy it.
"...If you realise you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact Golden Casket on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize."
The winning numbers were 35, 13, 11, 23, 27 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 8 and 5.
