THE REDLAND Bombers will welcome back favourite son and former Collingwood Magpies AFL player Adam Oxley for the 2020 season.
Football operations manager Martin King said head coach Phil Carse led the chase for the defender's signature in a bid to add some experience to his roster.
Redland junior Blake Grewar and Footscray VFL player Reuben William have also signed with the club.
Grewar spent a year on the Brisbane Lions list after being signed from Redland as a rookie in 2016 before relocating to Melbourne where he spent two years with the Richmond Tigers' VFL side.
William, a refugee born in South Sudan who arrived in Australia as a five-year-old, played three games across two seasons for the Brisbane Lions after being picked up in the 2015 rookie draft.
He was delisted in 2017 and spent the next two seasons plying his trade at the Footscray Bulldogs.
King said the off-season recruitment blitzkrieg was nowhere near over for Carse, who was still in negotiations with a few players as he looked to build on the Bombers ninth place finish in 2019.
"It's fantastic to have a couple of club juniors come back to where it all began," King said.
"(Adam's) signing is really important for current and junior players. He certainly brings a lot of experience having played different roles at VFL and AFL level.
"We are a really strong community based club so it is important to have junior players returning."
Oxley, the number 35 pick in the 2013 rookie draft, played 34 AFL games for Collingwood across six seasons, including a career high 17 in 2015.
He was delisted at the end of the 2018 season.
