ZOMBIES, witches, ghosts and ghouls will be roaming the streets in hoards on Thursday for Halloween trick or treating.
Police shared their fang-tastic safety tips to ensure Halloween does not become a nightmare.
Little monsters should stay visible to passing motorists by wearing bright colours and sticking to the footpath.
"Be accompanied by a trusted, responsible adult monster at all times," a police spokesperson said.
"Never enter a stranger's house, even if they have invited you in after knocking on their door.
"Consider joining your friends on a neighbourhood adventure - there is safety in numbers for little witches and vampires.
"Trick or treating late into the night is very scary. Go home and dig into your cavity starter pack - especially on a school night."
Meanwhile, some residents have decked out their homes in cobwebs, pumpkins and other spooky decorations to celebrate the season.
Send us your snaps
Redland City Bulletin readers are invited to send in their Halloween photos, along with their first and last name and suburb. Ages should also be given for any children in the photos.
Snaps will be compiled for a gallery to be published online.
