Buses will replace trains during Queensland Rail's CBD and southern lines closure on Saturday and Sunday November 9 and 10, with replacement buses runningon four scheduled routes.

Track maintenance will impact the Beenleigh, Cleveland, Gold Coast, the inner-city between Albion/Bowen Hills to Roma Street, Ipswich/Rosewood and Springfield lines from the first service on Saturday (November 9) until the last on Sunday (November 10).
TransLink executive director of operations Jasmine Green said TransLink would have buses running every 10 minutes between 8am to 8pm and every 15 minutes outside of those hours.
"This is a large Queensland Rail closure and we have a fleet of buses ready to service that demand," Ms Green said.
"We urge all customers to check the TransLink Journey Planner and plan ahead to catch timetabled replacement buses that weekend during QR's closure.
"TransLink has successfully been trialling timetabled rail replacement buses since November last year but this will be the first time timetables will be used on inner city services.
"Similar to recent trials, TransLink will have dedicated route numbers for railbus services."
Ms Green said information would be installed at stations and bus stops with maps and timetables available online.
"University students sitting exams and fans going to the Supanova Expo at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, should especially plan ahead that weekend to avoid stress," Ms Green said.
There are many existing bus services for weekend exams, however there will be more on standby should they be needed.
It will also be a similar case for Supanova Expo fans heading to the Brisbane Convention Centre at South Bank.
Passengers with mobility requirements who require additional assistance to catch a bus can call TransLink on 13 12 30 anytime or advise Queensland Rail station supervisors.
QR's weekend work includes corrective, preventative and general track maintenance.
