The residence at 185 Main Road, Wellington Point will be transformed into a Viennese salon when a program of chamber music will be presented as part of a Classical Point of View at 3pm on November 24.
The program includes the works of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven presented by soprano Rosemarie Arthars, flautist Helen Lowe, cellist Danielle Bentley and pianist Leanne Swanson.
Ms Swanson said the afternoon emulated that enjoyed in private houses of the 18th and early 19th century.
"Gottfried san Swieten was a famous patron of Beethoven and would host Viennese salons. We are creating the same in a private home at Wellington Point," Ms Swanson said.
Repertoire includes lieder of all three composers, Mozart arias, Beethoven's Trio for Flute Cello and Piano and the Sonata for Cello and Piano in A major.
Tickets are $40 and can be booked on 0418 456 829, harry@coffshardwoods.com.au
